Turn me loose and watch me go...!

I went to The Buffalo Club tonight to watch my Mom and Deen dance for a competition. They were amazing, but thats not surprizing. If I am half the woman she is, then I'm pretty lucky.

In the hour I was there I got 8 missed calls from my boyfriend. I had talked to him at 9 and told him where I was going and that I would call when I left. He called me just as I parked to see what I was doing... I told him I was at the bar and he didn't remember talking to me. Then, when I was in the bar, he called eight times.

I left the bar and went home. My angels told me I had fifteen minutes to get what I needed and leave. When a clear message like that comes through, trust me, you don't ignore it. So, I gathered an over night bag and headed to Caldwell. Easter Dinner is Saturday and my Gran's. Kai was going, but I guess not now.

As I'm headed down the road he calls me again, I answer and he asks what I'm doing. I told him I was headed to my sister's house. He said he would have to turn around then... I guess he was headed to my house. I told him he knew I wasn't home. (he should have thought I was at the bar) On the free way he called again... asking what I was doing...

What do I do? Oh, I know the answer.
Just work with me till I have the strength to follow through.

I've moved! I live all by myself is a spiffy two bedroom. And I love it!

At The Buffalo a man over heard me express my love for dance. He was sitting just to the left of me. When my mom left me, he asked if I would like to dance. Said he used to be pretty good until the accident. Then I noticed, he was burnt and missing his left hand. I told him I would love a dance. When we made it to the dance floor I thought to myself, he is a very handsome man and although the burns are noticeable, they don't distract from his features. His right side is less burnt... and I thought I could like this cowboy. I almost invited him to Hannah's but I thought I'd better not. I still have a boyfriend and although I wouldn't cheat on him, it still wouldn't be right.

I do hope I see my fire cowboy again. He's a good dancer.
